As you know by now, former U of L players recently had a big week in the National Football League. Just how well did they do? Let's just say that no other university was represented as well as Louisville.
Here is the breakdown:
(Scoring includes rushing tds, receiving tds and field goals; passing tds are not included)
1. Louisville = 31 pts (Michael Bush 12, David Akers 7, Bilal Powell 6, & Gary Barnidge 6)
2. Oklahoma State = 29 pts (Dan Bailey 11, Dez Bryant 12, & Justin Blackmon 6)
3. Ohio State - 28 pts (Beanie Wells 12, Mike Nugent 10, & Donte Whitner Pick 6)
4. Kansas State = 24 pts (Bryce Brown 12, Daniel Thomas 6, & Jordy Nelson 6)
Texas = 24 pts (Justin Tucker 10, Phil Dawson 8, & David Thomas 6)
Honorable Mention
Kentucky = 6 pts (Jacob Tamme 6)
Maryland = 7 pts (Nick Novak 7)
Cincy = 0 pts
UConn = 0 pts
South Florida = 0 pts
Note: I am 93.7% confident in this information as I compiled it on my own then used a pivot table.
