Hey, so after Black Saturday (Probably the most dissapointing day in my life, especially since it was my birthday!) I decided that the Cardinal Community would need something to light them up, especially with the terrible news that Dieng would be out for an indefinite amount of time due to a hand fracture. So I decided to remix Code Red's Get Em Up, the 2008 Louisville Cardinal's Basketball Theme Song. I updated it, put my own spin on it, and probably made it worse all at the same time haha. No, but seriously, I personally think I did an okay job! Now, I'm no rapper, I hardly listen to rap, and I'm defiently not a poet, but this was about something I love (Louisville) so it actually came pretty easy to me.
