Back-to-back losses have taken the Cards from a top ten national ranking to completely out of the Associated Press Top 25.
Louisville's surprising loss to Connecticut has knocked the Cards all the way out of the new Associated Press Top 25.
The good news is that U of L sits at No. 23 in the USA Today Poll, which is the set of rankings that is included in the BCS formula. Most predictions have Louisville just in front of Rutgers in the new BCS rankings, which will be unveiled tonight at 8:30. This means that all the Cards have to do is defeat the Scarlet Knights on Thursday to likely secure a spot in the Orange Bowl.
