Rick Pitino announced Tuesday night on his weekly radio show that sophomore Kevin Ware has been suspended for Thursday night's exhibition game against Pikeville.

Ware joins fellow sophomore Chane Behanan, who has been suspended for both exhibition games for multiple unspecified summer incidents.

Ware, who played sparingly after joining the team at midseason last year, has been consistently praised by Pitino during the offseason for his remarkable improvement. He had been labeled as the team's likely starter at the two guard on multiple occasions by Pitino.
