Bad news out of Lexington, where an MRI has revealed that U of L quarterback commit Kyle Bolin has torn the ACL in his left knee.
Bolin, who suffered the injury during Lexington Catholic's 24-21 win over Boyle County last Friday, will miss the remainder of his senior season.
Unfortunately my left ACL is torn. I will work my ass off from here on out & come back stronger/faster than ever! Thank you for the support!

All I have to do is stay Strong.... CARDINAL STRONG!! It's in my blood

So far this season, Bolin had completed completed 108-of-195 passes for 1,508 yards and six touchdowns. Lexington Catholic is 6-1, with their only loss coming to Ensworth High of Nashville.
Bolin becomes the second Cardinal QB commit in as many years to suffer a torn ACL. In 2011 it was Coffee County (Ga.) signal caller Will Gardner who went down with the injury in his team's first game and missed the remainder of his senior season. Gardner is currently redshirting at U of L.
Best of luck to Kyle on his road to recovery. Hope to see him suited up and ready to go by the time fall camp rolls around.
