What Notre Dame Means To Me
For some, the name "Notre Dame" conjures up images of football glory; golden domes, golden helmets and Touchdown Jesus..
For me, it conjures up these images:

Monstah dunks.

I still have nightmares
about Harangody hitting threes against us in Freedom Hall that one year. Every time he stepped outside the arc and got the ball, and NOONE bothered to extend out, the crowd would inhale as one and then groan…
TWill
sure did like to show off for the fans.
And am I the only one who thinks Rak could be as good as E-5 was? Its so sad he got hurt last year. If he’d stayed healthy I think the season would have been so different. He’d probably be playing for draft position this year, rather than just trying to get back into the feel of the game…
Rak is not as good at E5
playing for draft position? are we watching the same guy?
If he hadn't gotten hurt last year.
Obviously this year he is not nearly that good. He probably wouldn’t even get to play overseas.

Earl is significantly more talented than Rak
Them shoulders!

I don't disagree.
I was just musing that, if he hadn’t gotten injured last year, Rak could be giving us the kind of minutes and inside presence that Earl did while he was here.
I don’t think Rak is nearly that good this year. He is clearly still recovering, and his development took a major hit when he got injured.
But he’s shown an ability to shoot longer shots, and drive to the basket to challenge like Earl did. He just doesn’t do it as well or nearly as often.

I completely agree with you
Rak is not as talented as Earl, nor does he possess his sweet jumpshot, but he seems to work a lot harder. Had he not been injured, he could have been a better college player than Earl.

Can you imagine if Bill Rafferty and Jay Bilas were the commentators with Reece
for the Kyle Kuric dunk? It would be amazing.
Glad someone edited that video to get Bobby Knight “idiotic comments” out of it. New 2nd favorite video of King Kyle’s dunk. First will always be Da Bunnies!
Only reason I used it
Digger and Knight ruin almost every other one.

I believe the technical term you are looking for is "Gus Johnson" or "Gus" for short
As in: “Gus would have gone Gus”

You have to admit.
That was probably the meanest expression to ever cross Kyle Kuric’s face in his entire life…

Kyle Kuric has a glowing red furnace of basketball ferocity burning in his gut.
He tries to keep it in check, because every time he lets it run wild…
dudes get eviscerated by his hoops kung fu.
He raises money for sick kids to try to balance the pain he inflicts on the court.

So thats how offense looks
When you have two lottery picks and a great passing big man. I almost forgot.
Coolest thing Clark ever did.
I remember popping hard for that one.

Gorgui needs to cram a few on Cooley.
Talk about a mismatch.

What really pissed me off.............
………….is Driscoll changed his story. He first told RP he called it because KK said something to the vanquished ND player. Only when he found out Kyle never said anything did he change his story and say it was because of the stare down. He didn’t have the guts to admit he made a mistake. The coverup is always worse than the crime.
Some staredown
He looked at him for less than one second. It looks like a staredown in slow motion, but in real time it’s just long enough for Kyle to gather himself and move on.
And yeah, it pissed me off too. Phelps and Knight did too.

I saw it this way.............
Kyle just planted this kid on the floor, Kyle comes from a medical family (father being a surgeon), so he was most likely just checking to see if Martin needed medical attention. That makes him a Good Samaritan, not a technical fouler. Oh, the injustice of it all.

In another context
What ND means to me is “We are the Golden Dome and we are too GD good to play football in the BE but we are willing to steal one of the BE bowl slots every four years.”
So per the score widget, this is the game thread

What does siva have to do for us to consider it a good game?
10+ points, 6+assists, 2- TOs. I’d say.
