This makes me....
miss the towel waving days of Jerry Smith. His bench celebrations were awesome!! I’m not sure we’ve had a more excitable player than Jerry, when it comes to cheering.
I nearly cried out when the ground shook.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!”
This is great. +1 to whatever intern did that for ESPN and I hope he gets a job elsewhere.

similar to UofA's gumbies
Jud Buechler. Affectionately known as “the Gumbies”, U of A bench players would often wave their towels, jump up and down, and celebrate on the playing floor during the 1987-88 season. Jud Buechler was one of those non-starters. Harvey Mason was also a Gumby, but never an NBA player. Steve Kerr was a starter, and Khalid Reeves was not yet a Wildcat.
