Alright; we've now won 3 games in a row. We're 17- 5 (5- 4) and in now entering the second half of our BE schedule. Rutgers comes to the 'Ville next Saturday night. While they're not Syracuse or UConn, a win over them will put us in superb shape in the final weeks. Why? After Rutgers come's UConn on Februray 6th. Then we have WV on the road & Syracuse back at the Yum!. It is quite possible that a 3 game losing streak could happen if we don't play better ball. Personally I don't think that will happen, but I didn't think we'd lose ot ND at home or lose by 31 to Providence. A Rutgers win would put us at 6- 4. Even if we win just 1 of the next 3 after that, we'll still be 7- 7 with a great chance to grab 3 more wins before the post season. It's safe to say that in the Big East this year ANYONE CAN BEAT ANYONE whether at home or on the road. We have to win the games we're supposed to win (like Rutgers) and pull out some toss up games like UConn, WV, & the 'Cuse. If the Yum! Center ever needed to be at full capacity and loud, it should be next Saturday night. This game is a must, in my opinion. But it is, after all, only an opinion. Go Cards!
