Swop being open at 3:33
In the words of Russ: I’m so happy for him I can’t breathe.

No, but with continued use of "senior" in reference to Swop
I’d say this is his last season. Exactly the same bucket as George Goode was in last year.

Highly doubt it.
Coach Pitino has said Rak will keep his scholarship and Swop’s is going to Terry Rozier.
If Rak decides he’s done with basketball, we’d have another scholarship for 2012. Considering we are still talking to a couple of 2012 recruits, I’d say that is a small possibility. But I’d wager that it’s going to be up to Rak if he wants to come back in fall 2013 or not.

wow len elmore is a tool
i’ve only heard a broadcast announcer root for a team so openly as his “oh no no no no” when wayns got his 4th, and that was digger @ ND
did you hear him call out the crowd?
Everyone was booing because of a call and he said something to the effect of" these Louisville fans just need to shutup because that was a foul" I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone call out a home crowd like that It was weird. In his defense I’ve never heard a crowd boo in my entire life

I've heard plenty of crowds boo
but the announcers generally are too stupid to realize that they’re usually booing the REFS, not their team/opposing team.
It always irritates the hell out of me when there’s an obvious bad call, the crowd starts booing, and the announcer is like “the crowd isn’t happy with the way their team is playing”. NOOO you dipsh!t, they’re not happy with the refs!

The other guy was the idiot who called out the crowd
something like “They need to zip it.”
Len Elmore is generally a fair analyst.

Len Elmore was the good color analysist in this game that kept saying that Chane Behanan's
passion for rebounding warmed his heart as a former big man.
Bob Wischusen was the tool.

I'm in love
with Peyton’s remixed behind-the-back dribble and Russ’s bouncing “can’t breathe” bouncing at 3:53
I'm falling in love with
the new (old) Peyton again. I just hope he shows up in good form tonight…

3:43
Loved seeing Behanan and Russ immediately sprint to Swop (after Jay called a timeout) to bump chests with Swop after he hit that 3.
Peton's jumpers
If he can keep hitting the pull up it will open up so much. Teams won’t be able to lay off him and play him to drive all the way in. That will make it easier for him to go by a defender. Plus there are some good angles from the elbow to hit guys cutting to the basket. A win from all angles. Plus hitting the 13-15 foot jumper with consistency should improve his three point stroke. Yet another benefit.
In defense of Andy Glockner
I’ve emailed a national columnist to talk shit about their opinions about UL basketball exactly 1 time in my life, and it was Glockner. He said Mardo’s UL team was in danger of missing the tournament the week before the tournament. Clearly, he was very wrong, because they ended up in the 8-9 seed game, which suggests that 15+ at-large teams got in after them.
But, the point is, he emailed me back and actually engaged in a friendly debate about it, which I thought was cool. Maybe other people in his position do this, which I wouldn’t know because I generally think its pretty stupid to email a columnist- you either sound like an asshole, an idiot, a homer, or some combination of the three.
I’d actually be curious if other people have had similar experiences….

Yeh, with the columnist from the Seattle paper after we beat Washington to go to the Final Four
He dissed Ellis for not shaking Nate Robinson’s hand and ignoring him after we won. But what he didn’t know was that when Taquan was introduced and ran to half court the PA then announced Robinson. Dean stood there holding out his hand and Robinson was going up and down the bench slapping hands with his guys. He never came out to Dean as he was supposed to do leaving him there looking stupid.
He asked why I cared what he wrote. I explained that I usually read the opponent’s paper after a game and of course it was more fun after a win. He then emailed back that he was sorry to have snapped at me because newspapers need more readers. I then explained why Ellis did what he did and he responded that I was correct in surmising he didn’t know that and that if he had he would have never criticised Ellis.
We had a couple more emails after that.
Emailed a friend of mine back today, and included this line:
“You can be happy that you’re winning without it looking like you’re little brother, happy to win any game.”

i wish my double birds could have been on the video.
would have added some comic relief to what was a horribly officiated game.
