There is no doubt, the king is back. Kuric missed 2 games after tweaking his ankle in practice, and the team didn't look the same with out him on the floor. He was listed as a game time decision prior to the Pitt game, and although he didn't start, he was the Cards' top performer. This is UofL team that with Kuric doesn't have a true threat from behind the arch (not taking anything away from the Smith's), and that is exactly what he brought in his return. He was the games leading scorer and didn't seem to be favoring his ankle much at all. In his 2nd game back against Villanova we saw more of the same from Mr. Kuric. He brings more than just a reliable shot; he makes hustle plays, is a freak athlete, and is a great rebounder for his size. He has looked more aggressive since making his return, which is exactly what this team needs heading down the stretch of a tough Big East schedule. The team has seemed to turn a corner of sorts, and having a healthy Kuric definitely has the team headed in the right direction.
