New Terry Rozier Highlights

The more I see of the guy the more convinced I become that Rick Pitino's "will contribute immediately" statement will ultimately be proven accurate. He's having a hell of a senior season at Shaker Heights.

Rozier was nominated for the McDonald's AA game.

A couple hundred are nominated, but he was only one of two from Ohio. As note, zero were nominated from Kentucky.

By the way, the Leach kid looks pretty good, too. Class of 2013, dual sport athlete (football).

He looks a lot like Siva did in high school

kind of like a freak athlete that still needs some development but is just better than everyone else

The problem with All Americans

They’re great athletes, but too often that means they didn’t have to learn (weren’t coached) fundamentals. Does this kid play D, block out, shoot free throws, etc?

Can I just say off topic.

I wanna see less of Kevin Ware. I think his current attitude makes him a detriment to our team and the “Louisville First” mentality.

have you noticed

that even though he’s in there for a hot second the player don’t give him the ball

I agree. Almost acts like he is entitled to play.

Did anyone notice the smart a** face he gave Rick in that Pitt game after he got yanked immediately for a dumb TO? I didn’t like the face that he disrespected Coach behind his back or the body language afterwards. Nonetheless, he didn’t return for the game.

Prediction: Boy has to get his attitude right or he wont be here past 2012.

Come one now, youz guys are jumping to conclusions. He didn't get yanked after a TO,.....

He got yanked after he dipped to far to the middle of the zone and gave a shooter a good look from 3.

He did however have the length and Athleticism to get back out and challenge the shot. The guy just made a good shot.

Rick immediately called Time, and got on him for what I assume was giving Pitt a good look. But Ware didn’t get mouthy with Rick, and he didn’t give him a bunch of attitude either. When Rick turned his back, the look on Kevin’s face said “WTF?” more than anything else.

He seemed, IMO, either confused by what Rick told him, was squinting/ scrunching his face to see the score/replay, or he was saying “WTF man, I close out on him, and if he’d missed you wouldn’t have given a dam and called Time.” Which is probably true.

Either way,.. people are reading too far into the mystery of whether or not Kevin Ware is causing problems. No one knows, and he’s probably a good kid who’s still searching for his place here, both on the court and socially.

Fool's names are like their faces, often seen in public places.

damn we are kinda hard on Ware on here

I don’t know the kid or really much about his attitude, but he does raise some questions. With his size athletisim I think we will see a lot more of ware next year. Maybe a good thing maybe not but time will tell..rozier looks good and anton gill looks even better. Rotating two gaurds with length like blackshear and ware with two quick gaurds like gill and rozier will win us a lot of games in the near future

people on here have been saying that they've heard he has issues

he seems like he has skills. he’s just not in there long enough to really get a feel of what he can do

I said before that Russ Smith was a blend of Peyton Siva and Preston Knowles...

well Terry Rozier is a blend of Russ Smith and Chris Smith. Looks like he’s going to be a real player when he gets here.

I very curious to see where Rozier ends up when services like Scout.com and Rivals update their prospect rankings.

I kept hearing that he was a late bloomer, and wasn’t really on the radar for any of those services most of his high school career. And that was before he started tearing it up during his senior year. I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t have an extra star by his name soon.

I bleed red and black. I poop blue.

With all due respect, and I do mean with all due respect (Ricky Bobby reference),

I just cannot get excited about incoming recruits anymore until they’ve arrived and fully and completely passed a physical at Jewish Hospital.

Years of disappointment and “body mass index” references have worn me dowm.

Is it taking Chane more than a year?

Sorry, but I don’t buy this. CRP plays freshmen who are really good and can handle the playing time (see Chane, T-Will, Palacios, Sosa, Garcia, Dean, Samardo, etc.).

Agree; comparing Nunez/Price to your list of Cards above or to UK's recruiting classes is foolish.

The “Hurrrr he won’t play b/c of the system” gripe is becoming a CC epidemic. How many freshmen did coaching idol Denny Crum start?

No more scholarships.

Of course, you could try talking someone into transferring, walking on, or entering the draft. Any of the three are possible for this team. haha

Stout Out!
