Assuming he is able to recover (and he should), he will be a force next year. We’re going to be very good next year, people. It may just be a year later than we hoped for and expected.

Anyone think pitino talked a little extensively about listening to others for a reason? Like maybe US the fans? Because I thought against pitt collectively we looked our best all year. alright, barring another injury guys we have turned the corner. blackshear will be a HUGE bonus if he ends up playing.

but i agree with the post earlier. next year will b great. with chane and gorgui improving daily, blackshear and ware will fit in and peyton hopefully plays better. next year we are a legit title contender.

now it sucks that we always end up talking about ‘next year’ but injuries really screwed us this year. i think our expectations need to be more real. i’d b thrilled with a deep tourney run and i hope it will happen, but realistically if we avoid a first round loss in the NCAA then i’d consider it a relatively successful year considering everything we dealt with.
