I know I'm new here, but I've been a long-time visitor of this site and the forums. I'm curious as to how many of you all have competed in organized basketball on a high level because, in my humble opinion, a lot of you all have naive solutions to what ails our basketball team. Just to bring up the most recent comments, like calling Pitino an idiot and criticizing his coaching, or suggest that Nunez and Ware are immediate answers to our offensive woes (not knowing how much of a liability they may be on defense) just seem like naive opinions from people who haven't competed in organized basketball. To me, it is obvious this team suffers from cohesiveness; or a lack thereof, and that issue can only be resolved with getting players healthy/eligible and forming cohesiveness in practice...and it takes longer than a few weeks. The fact that their defense is ahead of their offense at this point in the season is a blessing 'cause I guarantee you that if the opposite were true, and offensive were ahead of the defense, then our record would be worse than 12-2! Louisville...will...get...a...lot...better as the players get more opportunities to practice and play together! I certainly respect everyone's right to an opinion, but to get back to the original question, who here has played organized basketball? I would imagine less than 25%...
