He F’d up, but manned up and owned up to it. There is no excuse, but hopefully he learned from this. One thing I always tell my Soldiers during safety briefs is It’s cheaper to stay the night in a hotel or take a taxi than to get a DUI. The potential consequences of the other driving option could be far more expensive than just being caught/arrested.
Had he killed or severely injured someone else – or himself – he would have had to live with that guilt/regret for the rest of his life.

i have a lot of people i’ve been dealing with the past 2 months after getting hit by a drunk drive while driving some people home for city scoot. (ironic?) anyways, some media people for the DA’s office as well as madd and the sheriffs office are working together with city scoot to raise more awareness of not only why it is bad to drink and drive, but the possibilities you have to make better choices. hopefully some really good things can come out of this

what impresses me is the fact that he not only apologized, but to prove himself he has decided to embrace his mistakes and turn it around for the better.
