Buckles injured again CRP to blame?
Can we get a break? I mean seriously Jared Swopshire, Rakeem Buckles, Wayne Blackshear, Steven Van Treese, and Justice. All guys who have missed major amounts of time over the last two seasons. First I want to give Rakeem Buckles an apology for all of the injuries he has gone through, you really feel bad for a guy who has great talent an dedication but can't get healthy. After hearing this I just wanted to say why? Why is this keep happening to us. I mean everytime we turnaround somebody tears an ACL or sprains an ankle. It just doesn't make any sense. Part of it is honestly bad luck to some degree. You can blame Fred Hina the trainer although the guy has to pretty smart and isn't causing the injuries. You could possibly blame the players for not being in good enough shape or just having fragile bodies. I think though it's possible CRP deserves some share of the blame. I mean if you look through Pitino's tenture it's just not the last two years. Juan breaks his leg, Ellis Myles with his knee injury, and twill I believe missed like the whole offsesason for something. Basically is rick working the players to hard. That is the question is it his issue with the body fat or do the guys run too much I don't know. Please share your thoughts and Get On The Train

Youre done.
I would believe this if there was a correlation- but there isn’t. Ankles, knees, shoulders, backs, wrists…
Remember the Beef Bowl!
Yes. Let's blame the coach for an injury during a game.
Athletes tear their ACLs in games all the time (especially female soccer players). It’s stupid to continue to blame this on the coach.

Is this post a joke? Think before you post man!
Every time an injury like this happens, it is not because of overtraining, being out of shape, etc. It is just a freak accident. I have torn the ACL in both of my knees. Both were freak accidents playing sports, there wasn’t anything I could do about it.

Injuries
C’mon really all the injuries are freak accidents. If there all freak accidents than I guess were not going to make a final four again because louisville can’t go far with this constant break down of players.
Go Cards!
Injuries
They are something that just happen, you train to prevent them but there is never a guarantee that you won’t get hurt. We just don’t have the best luck when it comes down to it

I don't think Juan ever broke his leg. I'm pretty you're thinking of Brandon Jenkins, who broke his leg in a pick up game. I don't see how that COULDN'T be Rick's fault!
No I’m just kidding Clay. You’re 100% wrong about this.

history demonstrates that humans will baselessly attribute the cause of any tragic event to just about anything simply to find peace in certainty, no matter how false.
This has led to such proud moments in history as the salem witch trials and animal sacrifices to please god or the gods. It’d be nice to believe we have evolved. To those of you blaming pitino, please try to evolve or mature enough to accept that we cannot know everything.
There is as much evidence that it is sypher’s voodoo doll causing injury as there is that it is pitino – zilch. Maybe it’s the air pressure in the river valley. Maybe god injures one more player each time a card fan blames pitino for an injury because he is angry that s/he failed to use the reason and logic we were graced with.
Until you have a factual basis to blame pitino for injuries(or other unknown causes of a UL setback), just admit you don’t know … or write a post to amuse us of your pre-evolutionary logic.

Wild applause
And not the slow clap build either, a hurt your hands, standing ovation.
I know that most are engaging in gallows humor, but those who really think it’s Rick’s fault, even in the most minute of percentages, are complete MORANS
HaHaHa! very nice
How many assholes do we have on this ship, anyway?

Dark Helmet: I knew it. I’m surrounded by assholes!
Dark Helmet: Keep firing, assholes!
People often forget,
when you injure one side of your body you train yourself and over time learn to overcompensate on the other side. This is a common reason why athletes injure something on one side and then injure the alternate muscle/bone/tendon/etc.
Strength training helps prevent injuries, including ACL tears.
How does our strength training program compare to other schools?
We lift weights. They lift weights. This happens a lot.

I have never had an ACL injury. Maybe they should adopt my regimen?
Get them each a recliner and a tv remote. Maybe an adult beverage or three. Worth a try right?
