Good call

Gorgui came in and put his arm around russ on the other side. It was awesome. Can’t wait til Monday! Go Cards!

He did seem more a part of the team yesterday.

I noticed him go over to the other guys to congratulate them/help them up a few times.

Yeah, I was pleased that he and Siva seemed to be working together

I feel a lot better after watching Peyton's post-game interview.

He seemed very upbeat, laughing, like the old Peyton. I don’t know how he’s been in the last few interviews because I don’t watch them after losses, it’s too depressing. I like that he was open about the fact that there were problems between the players, but he thinks they have worked them out.

But the fact that he has been getting hateful messages from UL “fans” on facebook is unacceptable. C’mon people, it’s a game. It’s supposed to be fun. They get enough crap from rival fans, they don’t need it from us too. They talked about having each others backs. We need to have their backs too & support them no matter what so they can get back to being the team we know they are.

I’m confident he will get his game back & so will everyone else. For now I’m just happy we are a Louisville first team again.

Siva's looked distraught in many postgame interviews this season

After watching last Tuesday’s PC postgame interviews, I unintentionally clicked on a C-J video from last year’s win vs PC on Senior Night & it was pretty depressing to notice the contrast, not to mention Preston being Preston.

I think there is likely a lot going on in Peyton's mind these days. Probably a combination of many of the things that have been mentioned here.

1. his injury
2. lost confidence in his shot
3. Russ’ rise as backcourt star
4. team’s losing streak
5. leadership issues
6. possible other personal issues

I know it will be hard for us to win without a Peyton with sound body and mind.

Well said, Cards78. Rec’d, and I’d rec it again if I could.

That's called the 2-3 zone.

Don’t let ’em get in their zone.

Reliable Source

Someone very close to the team informed me he indeed broke up with his girlfriend several weeks ago. That in addition to dealing with a not fully healed ankle has really brought his game down. The emergence of Russ was probably just another agitator. I miss happy Peyton, and hope he is back to stay.

Evil trick.

Too bad that rumor isn’t true.

Hey GCA

Did you have your “We love Peyton” sign again at the game, and do some pre-game filming? Pretty sure I saw you, if that was indeed you, before we started playing pregame tunes.
