It was streetball at its best/worst, and we amazingly covered the 16 pt Vegas spread–even with 40 minute/game Kyle Kuric on the sidelines with an ankle sprain, and center Gorgui Dieng arriving in a neck brace (but playing.)
We will see the true positive after- effects of the post- Providence ”come to Jesus” team meeting very soon in the next game at Marquette.

LOL It does kinda look like that, in that pic.
Chane is going for the rebound —but Gorgui beat him to it by a mile
(I wish Chane would rebound more strongly— with his Wes Unseld block of a body, he should be tearing up the boards for us. Instead we rely almost entirely on Gorgui for the heavy work—and remain a weak rebounding team—particularly with Rak still on the mend with his knee. And I just don’t see Rak being the rebounding force this year, like he used to be, because I just don’t see him mending in time…kinda like I don’t see Siva’s ankle mending— until it is given rest! Which won’t happen this year under Pitino’s “system” …)
