Come down off the ledge people! We're 12-2! Our only two losses are to two very good basketball teams, Kentucky and Georgetown and we were in both those games. All the naysayers dogging Pitino need to chill. I would like to beat Kentucky as much as anyone but they have freakishly good players who are all first-round draft picks. Pitino brought in his best class in many years and was a driving force behind our beautiful new basketball arena. Blackshear was injured but will be back on the court very soon. Kuric looked bad today because Kentucky's defense shut him down, it was all part of their game plan and they executed it well. Chane got in early foul trouble due to a bogus technical and was largely made ineffective, I thought he played well when he had the chance. I too would like to see some more players get playing time, but I don't pretend to second guess Pitino. I have watched for years as his teams have lost games they should have won in the first half of the season only to see them excel in the latter half and come on strong come Big East play and tournament time. This team is going to get better. Now, that said, if we lose in the first weekend of the NCAA tournament again, I'll lead the march on Pitino's house.
