There cannot be a plan to stay in the Big East.

There is no Big East anymore. We have to move on.

I may be a minority here

but I’d love to see us in the SEC

Tm's unflagging loyalty to the Big East has already cost us, I fear....

He and others were caught off guard entirely by Pitt’s treachery

One can only hope he already had multiple feelers out—-but I don’t think he did….

Now w may be forced to “beg” hat in hand

I can't believe Jurich wasn't prepared for this

He may have hoped it wouldn’t come to this, but it had been talked about enough that any AD worth his salt would have been working on Plan B.

He's got to have been planning some plan B.....

but all the shrugs he kept giving in that terse interview….not a god body language sign

it says…shits hit the fan..and it’s blowing on me…….

agreed.
I think he’s too good of an AD to not have a contingency plan in place. And even if he doesn’t have one now, he’s freaking Tom Jurich. He’ll make sure we end up in the best position possible (Kragthorpe hire excluded).

I don't know if he was ignoring it or hoping it wouldn't happen.

I just don’t know that we have anything substantial to offer a super conference, unfortunately. Kind of surreal when you say that about a school that, in the last 6 years, has a Final Four, a BCS bowl trophy, and championship appearances in baseball, soccer, and women’s basketball. And is one of the most profitable athletic departments in the country.

College sports are no longer about the sports.

I agree 100000000000%

Im kinda pissed we are getting caught off guard and in this situation.
