Gerrod Holliman Oficially enrolling in Prep School

I apologize if this has already been stated on here, I know we have all seen the speculation but I believe this is the first time I have seen it officially stated. Per thecardinalconnect.com:

"2011 Louisville signee Gerod Holliman has failed to qualify and will attend Milford Academy in New York. Holliman’s academic standing has been in question for the past few months. It sounds like Gerod came up just short of the required test score needed to qualify. He has the option of enrolling at Louisville in January.

Holliman maintains he is still 100% committed to Louisville, but it wouldn’t surprise me if other schools tried to get involved.

The 6-0 185 lb. Miami native was the highest rated defensive prospect to commit to the Cards. Rivals rates Holliman as the 4th best safety in the 2011 class."

Holliman is an absolute beast and could have really helped us this year, even filling in at corner if needed. I hope that we can fend off any newcomers to his recruitment and that he does what is necessary to join the program in January. His friend and fellow signing mate, Andrew Johnson, making it on the team certainly helps our chances of keeping him in Red and Black. I hope we see this kid next year, he and Calvin Pryor are our heir apparent to Holton and H. Smith.
