As I search for every snippet of news on the Cardinals during this dead time, sometimes I even have to resort to looking on some UK sites just to see what they are posting. As you probably figured it is usually  some statistical thing that has the parameters set so that UK can be seen in the best light while UofL is portrayed as negatively as possible. Though I might glance at them, I always realize how they will turn out. Then I came across this on the CBS sports site and it got me thinking. Instead of beating up UK as a school ( I actually don't hate them just 90% of their fans), I decided to ponder on possible great match-ups for our New Years Eve Basketball Game. My favorite will be Gorgui Dieng vs Anthony Davis. An up and coming big man, with a year experience, against a freshman,  High School phenom.  Why this intrigues me so much, is I am curious to see what two great shot blockers will do to each other.  The other reason is, this match-up  feeds into the Louisville First thing. A decent sophomore vs the all everything freshman that will probably be gone next year.   Who is your favorite match-up and why?
