2010-2011 CC Least Cool Person Tournament: Tim Fuller vs. Jorts
TIM FULLER

Rap Sheet:
--Served as an assistant under Rick Pitino during the 2010-2011 season.
--Bolted for Missouri and friend Frank Haith less than a month after the season had ended.
--His departure sparked a mass shuffling of the coaching staff, the decommitments of Rodney Purvis and (partially) Negus Webster-Chan, as well as the end of the Tony Woods saga.
VS.
JORTS

Rap Sheet:
--Nickname assigned to Kentucky senior center Josh Harrellson, because...wait for it...he sometimes wears jean shorts.
--To clarify, this entry is neither Josh Harrellson nor jean shorts; it's the "Jorts" phenomena that Kentucky fans started and ran into the ground after approximately 12 hours.

Neck and neck?
Fuller deserted. Jorts never was one of us. Turncoats are the worst enemies. Nuff said.
"...and the present, for us, is something that we really look forward to."

I dunno.
Anything UK related is pretty uncool.

P. S.
If it ain’t Harrelson himself, but the nickname, why do we care?
"...and the present, for us, is something that we really look forward to."
- Rick Pitino
Harrelson was as likable as a UK player can get, I think.
The phenomenon, however, is a different story.

Fuller
What he did was very uncool. He used us and lead us on and then left us out to dry. Jorts was just one of the many dumb redneck things UK fans got excited about. This years UK2K or John Wall Dance. Just a fad. Fuller will have a more lasting effect.
if we're going to vote for UK redneck rituals as "least cool person"
then I hope burning couches is in the bracket somewhere.
"...and the present, for us, is something that we really look forward to."

I don't see why Fuller is even in the tournament
So he left, so what? People change jobs. Happens. Just ‘cause he was an assistant at UofL, he isn’t allowed to do that – unlike the rest of us? Seems pretty hypocritical. How did he use us and lead us on and then leave us out to dry? I don’t get that. Not like he immediately started pulling UofL recruits to Missouri.

Because he
A) Did nothing for the program- It was mentioned that Fuller’s impact lied in the 2012 class. He had nothing to do with any of the 2011 prospects. Instead of an assistent who could have stayed (Wyking Jones, Kevin Keatts, etc.) and helped recruit would have been so much beter.
B) He could have very well been doing VERY shadythings before he left. I suspect that he may have been shown the door by Pitino and Jurich.
C) He got us Rodney Purvis, which screwed with our expectations on recruits. Example: I would have been REALLY happy to land Kevin Ware a year ago. While I’m very happy we got him now, I would be happier if our five star point guard hadn’t just decommitted.
"Marquis Teague sucks!"
-Bryce Cotten
You dont jump ship after one year, ESPECIALLY as a RECRUITER.
He was our guy…. he came in and said he wanted to be here for along time. He said he wanted to make Louisville great, and he bolted. Recruiting is all about relationships and trust. The way he left was just wrong…. Tim Fuller should easily win this.

Tim Fuller is my pick to win the whole dam thing.
Think about it folks, because of him the entire 2012 recruiting class went up in smoke and what could have been a valuable asset on the blocks will now suit up for Lex-U. The current staff had to start over from basically scratch.
Purvis and Chan both decomm’d and I pretty sure that any other recruits he had built inroads with aren’t very interested in us anymore.
All because this dude couldn’t handle the pressure and work load of working for CRP.

Had to go with Fuller, only because I suspect he was doing things he wasn't supposed to.
But any meme that UK fans try to invent is incredibly annoying, so it was very close.
Again, this tournament is stacked.
How is Jorts even in this?
Fuller screwed us.

I had to listen to a whole season of JORTS
my family (all UK fans) thought it was the most creative and cool thing in the world. So I vote the opposite.
I came to comments first to see if anyone posted a good reason to vote Jorts
Fuller it is
And for the record, has he ever really given a clear explanation for wanting to go hang with a buddy in a basement instead of a premium program??
Mike, I just watched both tallies increment several times in a minute.
Could someone be hacking your poll?
Tough decision
Fuller being 1 and done and basically doing nothing for the program or the term that rednecks used to describe an overall good kid. I HATE “Jorts” but because Harrellson is an overall likeable guy, I have to vote for Fuller.
If they called Liggins “Jorts”, this would be an easier vote.
The reason I voted for Jorts
Just like the John Wall dance, which was taken from a Louisville-based rapper, ‘The Shizz’, the University of Kentucky faithful, led by the KSR-gang, stole the Jorts meme from the University of Florida where Tim Tebow was notoroiously known for jorts-wearing.
There is nothing less cool than copying someone else’s idea and butchering it.
Thoughts, Macy Gray?
I'm voting Fuller
Although I’m honestly happier now with our staff and 3 recruiters > 1, I cant remember being more pissed than when Fuller left. Worst sports-related career decision in recent memory for Timmy. Good luck to ya under Haith.

Toughest one yet
I’m sure there’s someone/thing I’m not thinking about, but could this have been the 1 and 2 seeds?
Fuller
Acts like BP, does not deliver, next.
Harrellson, by a mile
Ugly ass punk. I can’t believe he wasn’t ejected from the Ohio St game. He is a street-thug wannabe and definitely nets least cool from me. “Jorts”…………….how stupid can you get?
Fuller, though sucky that he left, did so with understandable reasons. I don’t curse him just for trying to better himself.

Finally, some decency.
Except Tim is SOOO hot. Which makes it so much more uncool.

I'm not sure about this one.
If we were voting on cute UK nicknames it would be easy. But, just jorts?
Can we nickname someone “the big retard” next year?

fuller
Yeah, my uncle is a booster for the basketball team and had to meet with fuller right after the season so fuller could tell him how much more money he deserved to stay. Apparently it didn’t go the way fuller wanted it to. The dude is stuck up his own @$$.

Why the hell didn’t we just pay him?
