Indiana used to play the cardinals every year, until about 5 years ago when Mike Davis broke off the series. Now Indiana fans have been talking smack lately, because Tom Crean said in an interview a couple weeks ago that they want a series with Louisville. In my opinion I would love to shut the Iu fans up, because all the time they talk about how much better they are than us, that we have a team of thugs, and that their recruiting classes coming up would kill Louisville. Listen Iu fans I know you guys are some what on the rise, but don't talk smack when you've got 1 tournament win in 5 years alright. As I suspected Iu will once again have bark, but no bite in this situation. Every year I here there coach saying they want to play us and then they chicken out. Howie Lindsey was on the radio a couple of nights ago and said that series won't happen. Indiana broke off the series 6 years ago, because Mike Davis said Louisville was to tough of a team to play, and for once he was right. Tom Crean will go around and will play to the Iu fans ears like no other coach they have about playing the cards, and then they will never play. I really wish Indiana would play Louisville, because we could not only shut them up but truly add a good non-conference game to the schedule. You imagine shutting up the Iu fans and the Uk fans. We could shut up Iu by beating them and could shut up Uk by having an unbelievable non-conference schedule of Iu, Uk, Memphis, Vandy, Western, and Butler. My question is though do you think Louisville will ever play Iu in basketball.
