CC Least Cool Person Tournament: Tim Fuller vs. Jeff Goodman
TIM FULLER

How They Got Here:
Defeated Jorts (59-40%)
Rap Sheet:
--Served as an assistant under Rick Pitino during the 2010-2011 season.
--Bolted for Missouri and friend Frank Haith less than a month after the season had ended.
--His departure sparked a mass shuffling of the coaching staff, the decommitments of Rodney Purvis and (partially) Negus Webster-Chan, as well as the end of the Tony Woods saga.
VS.
JEFF GOODMAN
How They Got Here:
Defeated The Gnome (71-28%)
Rap Sheet:
--Passed the one year mark on failing to deliver on the "prize" I rightfully earned in a Twitter contest in November of 2009.
--Claimed his plan along was, and still is, to "deliver the prize in person."
--Cemented his place in the tournament for a second straight year by making fun of Louisville fans for being excited about the eligibility of Gorgui Dieng.
--Managed to draw the ever rare cyber-ire of Rick Pitino.
--Followed crazygameofpoker just to gain a prize born of spite.

At least he got out of the first round this year
He’s like this tournament’s Winthrop. Always there.

Is it because he wins the "Douchebag Sportswriters" conference?
I hear that tourney is enjoyable to watch if you have the time. Ahh, refreshing Mid-major action.
Oh yes I did.
Sorry, I’m campaigning hard for Fuller to get knocked out here.
Fuller absolutely deserved a spot in the tourney, and I’m even glad he made it to the next round. But the guy took another job. How long can you hate a guy for being great at his job, getting noticed and going back to an old coach? On the other side, Goodman laughing at the eligibility of Gorgui? Come on. Tell me he doesn’t look like a huge clown.
Fuller wins the prize for being most detrimental to the Cards. Goodman wins the prize for being the LEAST COOL and acting like a total douche.

Oh no, the questions was not how
But for how LONG. Easy to hate a guy that has now robbed us of 2 recruits, but the guy’s getting paid.

You're right, I missed the word long in there.

Voted Goodman.
Based on the pictures alone. Douche.

It was uncool for Fuller to leave after one year.
Especially uncool that it was for an inferior program and inferior coach.
BUT, the fact that his recruits decommitted so quickly raises the question of whether he was DOING something uncool.
Stout Out!

I think George Goode needs to be added to the rap sheet.

I meant the fact that he pulled George Goode to Mizzou
It just made him seem more uncool to me, but I may be in the minority.

I don't fault George for going to Mizzou
He’s from there and he wasn’t coming back to Louisville. That wasn’t his decision, it was Pitino’s. So that issue, for me, is far from uncool.
The fact that Fuller was here only a year and as soon as he left, the big recruits bolted is enough for me to say he’s more uncool. That leaves questions as to whether or not he was doing things the right way or if there was something fishy going on.
Goodman
Failing to deliver a prize for a contest you throw is very uncool.
Why blame Fuller for doing what he wanted to do with is his own life?
And why blame him for the recruiting drama? It is not as if we have not lost about a million recruits before he came here and left.
I am sure, to no one’s surprise, I lay responsibility for that where it should lie…with the marginally affective egomaniac who is running the program. Fuller is nothing more than another page in the never ending novel of drama and instability.
But hey! Why hold the King responsible for the environment he has created? Kiss the loafers.
Can RP be a late addition, or write in for the contest?
RP would get one vote.
"...and the present, for us, is something that we really look forward to."
- Rick Pitino
I bet you'd outpoll him
"...and the present, for us, is something that we really look forward to."

"marginally [a]ffective egomaniac" [sic] ... "kiss the loafers".
I disagree, but pretty funny. That should be your sig line henceforth.

IT'S GOODMAN.
Fuller is making a f$#king LIVING guys. Goodman is just a douche bag. What is the matter with you people??
I give up. I suppose the decommittment of a recruit is too much for people to stomach.

Because Fuller did NOTHING of worth for UofL.
He was hired pretty much specifically to get… you guess it, Marquise Teague and he went to UK. Of all fucking places, he went to our rival school. Then he dips out after 1 year into his contract. I know he’s getting paid, but not doing what he was getting paid to do here is very uncool. Goodman is a douche, but he trashes Kentucky too; even to Matt Jones’ face.
ALL HAIL

I'm going with Goodman, kind of by default.
For me, it comes down to Fuller’s impact on the program. Yes, commits did walk after he left, but I doubt we would have had any of them to begin with if not for him. The most I can say is that he wasted our time in that we could have had someone else out there recruiting instead. Not sure they would have had his results though.
