Among the nuggets dropped by Louisville running backs/special teams coach Kenny Carter tonight at the Shelbyville Cardinal Caravan is the return of Corvin Lamb, a 5-10, 220-pound running back with a 4.3-second time in the 40.
Lamb didn’t get academically eligible last season, but kept on working on his academics and has been cleared to play, according to Carter.
He was one of the fastest high school players in Florida as a senior, and won national AAU titles in the 100-meters and 200-meters. He picked U of L over Michigan, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, West Virginia and Rutgers.
