Tony Woods not headed to Kentucky
Matt Jones is reporting that Wake Forest transfer Tony Woods will not play the rest of his college basketball at Kentucky, saving himself the indignity of being one of the most unliked Wildcats in recent memory, but robbing us of some solid rivalry fodder.
No word on where Woods is headed, but he had listed UK and Texas as his first two choices after re-opening his "recruitment" following the departure of Louisville assistant Tim Fuller. And before the question is asked, GoCardsAttitude has more of a shot of suiting up for the Cards next year than Woods does.

good
like him or not, it doesnt hurt having a 7 footer on your team. he made the right choice, go to Texas where no one knows EVERYTHING about you and breaks down your every move like our two fan bases have.

This is really not surprising at all conssidering their recruiting class and Jones not going to the NBA.
In fact, I think it really confirms just how much they covet anyone that even mentions Louisville. I mean this guy was a 5 star prospect years ago but in reality he is a guy who averaged 4 pts and 3 rebs a game. Not exactly anyone to write home about. If he hadn’t been involved with Louisville, I doubt they would have even looked at him.
