Former Louisville commit Rodney Purvis told Rivals.com today that he's now seriously considering four schools, a list which no longer includes U of L. The elite combo guard says that it's now a four-way battle between Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina State and Florida to land his talents.

"I'm happy with my list," Purvis said. "All these schools are strong guard schools."

In a somewhat surprising note, Purvis added that he has not spoken with a Louisville coach since his decommitment last week. I reckon the thinking among the staff was why waste any more time/resources on this kid when it's pretty clear we no longer have any real shot with him.
