Word out of Florida is that the University of Louisville dance team, affectionately known to Cardinal football and basketball fans as "The Ladybirds," have claimed the sport's national championship yet again.
I hope to be around when Sean Moth introduces "your 47-time defending national champion Ladybirds!" It really flows.
Congrats, ladies.
UPDATE: U of L's small coed and large coed cheerleading teams have also claimed national titles.
