"I gave all the thanks to head coach Charlie Strong, defensive coordinator Vance Bedford and defensive line coach Clint Hurtt. They helped make me the player I am today. I want to thank Tom Jurich for bringing that staff in. I am so blessed right now and can't wait to get down there."

He should thank
Petrino for recruiting him as well as Charlie turning him into the star he had in him. He should also give an extra hard f**k you to kragtard for hindering him for so long. Had it not been for him he may have gone first rd

I don't think
He owes Petrino one sideways glance.

I always loved Johnny since a Frosh
I am glad to see him get drafted in a good round. Best wishes to that guy – when the new Madden comes out I am definitely getting him on my team.
Does anyone know where/if Anthony Allen is supposed to get drafted? The Petrino comments reminded me of him and I know he is in the draft but I have not heard anything since the Senior Bowl, just curious. He gave us a great freshman year and it is a shame we couldn’t see him develop.

hell yeah
i’m a big saints fan so i love it when this happens. Montavius Stanley was on our practice squad for a little while but never saw any game time.
THis is great! for JP and the saints.
