My 2 cents on Tim Fuller's departure

I am thinking of players whose names are around the UofL basketball recruiting radar: Wayne Blackshear, Zach Price, Chane Behanan, Angel Nunez, Quincy Miller, rodney purvis. We have definitely locked the first four, but I am not sure how much input Fuller has on these players decision. Miller's name appeared to UofL since Fuller came but we all know where he committed. Rodney Purvis's interest in UofL is mostly because of Fuller.  All signs show that If Fuller had not leave uofl, Purvis would very likely come here.

I never liked Fuller's speech. At least I hardly see his passion on UofL basketball while watching his speech. He seemed much more like a business man than any of the coaches we have every had. I can understand that some top recruits may like his style.

The more I think of his business style and his connections, the more I started  concern whether he is able to do recruiting in a disciplined and clean way.  I am guessing this could be the point where the three parties (I mean the school,  Rich Pitino, and Fuller)  may not be able to settle down. This could lead to the breakup between Fuller and the school.

As for Tony Woods, I am not a fan either. He was a four star coming out of high school in 2008 and ranked 10th in his position, though he has not done well in college. Even though he may still have the chance to shine, look, we have already had TJ, Deng and will have Price. Why would we need Woods.  This is not a place where the more backup and bench sharing playing the better. I would rather think Woods is Fuller's protege.  Although Fuller and UofL broke up, he left his protege to uofl.
