Louisville commit Rodney Purvis put on a show at last weekend's Nike Boo Williams Invitational that left Dime Magazine referring to him as "the next big thing."
Here are Purvis's stats from the three-day event:
Game One:
31pts, 7reb
12-21 from the field, 3-5 from 3, 4-6 FT.
Game Two:
21pts, 4reb
7-18 from the field, 4-5 from 3, 3-4 FT.
Game Three:
26pts, 4reb
10-17 from the field, 2-5 from 3, 4-4 FT
Game Four:
10pts, 4reb
4-11 from the field, 0-2 from 3, 2-9 FT
Game Five:
32pts, 4reb
11-15 from the field, 2-2 from 3, 8-10 FT
Despite "outside shooting" being consistently listed as one of his biggest weaknesses, the weekend left one recruiting expert referring to Purvis as "very likely the most reliable perimeter scorer in the class." How quickly things change.
If words and numbers aren't your thing, here's some visual proof.
