Freshman wide receiver Michaelee Harris, who was forced to redshirt last season because of a knee injury, tore the PCL in his other knee during winter workouts and will miss all of spring practice.
Harris becomes the 14th Cardinal who will miss spring practice because of injury.
The list includes:
Center Mario Benavides (shoulder), defensive end B.J. Butler (shoulder), running back Jeremy Wright (knee), cornerback Darius Ashley (shoulder), defensive tackle Greg Scruggs (hernia), and wide receivers Damian Copeland and Andrell Smith (back).
"I know we're going to be real thin,'' head coach Charlie Strong said on Tuesday. ''We're still going to have to practice. That's the only way we're going to improve as a football team.''
Spring practice kicks off tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. and is open to the public.
