When I turned on the TV this morning the ESPN guys were discussing Pitino's future because of some comments he made. ultimately they ended by saying "he has probably the best basketball facility in the country, 2 mcdonalds all americans and a 6-10 center coming in, and one of the best coaching giggs you could ask for.... he is not going anywhere." I do not have any fear of anything happening with coach P, he is on top of his game right now and has the coaching staff, momentum, and players to make some real runs at NC's in the coming years. I was just curious if anyone knows what his comments were that made ESPN devote a good 15 minutes to talking about this. if anyone knows or has a link to the quotes and what-not please post it here.

We will be back Card nation, it sucks that it happened to us but upsets are what makes this tourny the best in sports. Our football team is on the rise, our basketball program is positioned for big things in the near future, and our other teams (soccer, baseball, etc.) are giving us excitement during times when we are used to just waiting for the next football/basketball season to start. We will be back...... and even more dangerous.
