Thank you Teddy!!

First of all, congratulations to Charlie Strong and staff for pulling in one of the best (if not the best) recruiting class ever at UofL!! I can't wait for the football season to start and see the product they will put on the field. No doubt they will work their balls off and give us many happy moments ahead. It is truly a great time to be a Cards fan :)

After saying that, I also wanted to give huge credit to a young man who might become the next face of our program: Teddy Bridgewater.

Teddy has already given us a glimpse of what type of a leader he will be by attracting and influencing some of the top talent from Miami to follow him to the University of Louisville. As Charlie Strong mentioned today, his decision to come play for us heavily influenced his teammates Eli Rogers, Jermaine Reve, and little-league-days friends Gerod Holliman and Andrew Johnson, among others.

In my opinion, when we look back five years from now, we will all agree that Bridgewater committing to us was probably the second best thing that happened to UofL after the Krag1H1 era. Second only to the hiring of HCCS.

In another note, I would still love to see Damarcus Smith coming in, competing for the job, and becoming a hometown hero. Damarcus and Teddy can make each other better and take UofL to new heights!! I will personally buy a football jersey with Damarcus’ number if he signs.

Go Cards!!!!

PS: Huge thanks to CardChronicle for feeding my UofL fanhood while being so far away from Louisville!
