Kyle Kuric For POW
So I have to admit, I don't know every story from around the league this week. But I do know Kyle Kuric has had a heck of a week. I hope he gets some credit for the tear he's been on.
Against Notre Dame - 28 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, SC TopTen #1 cram, AND the #1 cram job (an admitted mistake).
AND THEN he follows up that circus to lead his team against Syracuse - 23 pt 5 rb 4 ast - and was the most important (and efficient) player on the team every minute he was on the court.
I mean give the -kid- man some credit.
Week AVG of
25.5p / 5.5r / 2.5a on 18/29 (.621%) FG and 9/14 (.643%) 3FG.
On top of that, apparently he's the nicest guy in town, even when he's crashing your wedding. I hope karma (or the league) pays him back and gives him the honor of being the first Cardinal to be named to any of the Big East's weekly awards this season.

I’m not positive, but I think Siva has gotten a BE POW award.
Kuric will probably end up 3rd this week, the loss to Notre Dame hurts his resume
Dwight Hardy had a huge game in St John’s win vs. UConn. If he repeats vs. Cincinnati & the Johnnies win, he’ll have a good shot at POW.
Jonathan Mitchell (Rutgers) had 25 pts & a last-second game-winning four-point play to beat Villanova earlier this week and had 24 points in a loss to Seton Hall today. He’s probably the front runner right now.

haha, sorry man
I definitely don’t know everything but I happened to see Mitchell’s game-winner and it reminded me of Siva’s against UConn.

Don't feel bad..
…hot hot is in a Big East basketball fantasy league. I’m 100% serious.

also true
Mitchell’s team had a bye this week but I did know about Hardy’s stats from said league. Don’t act like you’re not jealous.

What round did Kuric go in the draft
43rd?
But seriously, was anyone from our squad even drafted.
It's a Big East only league
Many BEast players have stepped into bigger roles over the course of this season but beyond the first 5 or 6 guys drafted, no player was a lock to put up consistent big fantasy numbers this year. With 12 teams and rosters of 9 players, it was a crapshoot towards the end of the draft.
I drafted two Louisville players: Siva in the 2nd round/15th overall & Kuric in the 6th rd. Copied & pasted my roster below with round drafted or free agency in parentheses. I had the 10th pick of 12 teams:
G Peyton Siva – Louisville (2)
G Malik Wayns – Villanova (3)
G Brandon Young – DePaul (8)
G Eniel Polynice – Seton Hall (FA)
G/F Kyle Kuric – Louisville (6)
F Gilvydas Biruta – Rutgers (FA)
F Kevin Jones – West Virginia (1)
F/C Alex Oriakhi – Connecticut (4)
C Charles Okwandu – Connecticut (9)
