This has to be the most depressing week in Louisville sports history.

Yesterdays loss against NC State was horrible, we haven't beaten Georgetown in like years. A depressing loss going into our biggest game of the season at Kentucky.

I just don't know how to swallow yesterdays loss and tonight's home loss against Georgetown.

The worst part is all of the ESPN poll voters do not like Louisville they will be more than happy to vote Louisville out of the top 10 next week as we will start the new year 0-1 in conference play leaving media's golden boy Syracuse alone at the top of the Big East.

And when is the last time that Rick Pitino has won a New Years eve game so that's the only thing I am scared of going into Saturdays game.

Refs have been terrible to Louisville all year and to make matters worse we play in curRUPPed Arena Saturday.

You can sugar coat this team all you want, but I am not going to beat around the bush and say we get it handed to us New Years Eve.

Was the Belk Bowl the only bowl offered to us? Because if not I have no idea why we accepted a bowl game against a team who would be playing just three hours away from their stadium.
