Will Swop have to leave for Rozier to have a scholarship?

Assuming Chris and Kyle are the only departures.

scholarship

Swop having a scholarship depends on if there is another recruit coming in that Pitino needs a scholarship. Before the season Pitino said this would be Swop last season on scholarship because he wanted to bring in 2 new recruits. Rozier will not cause swop to not have one. It looks more and more likely that Peyton could very well be gone after this year though. My predicition is he will be on scholarship next year.

Rozier already has a scholarship.

Pitino said Swop will have the opportunity to leave and play somewhere else like Goode. However, my understanding is that we still have one scholarship left for next year so who knows where that is going.

I believe Swop leaving is the only scholarship that would be open - filled by Rozier.

I think Rick was counting on another early departure, most likely Siva and/or Blackshear. Remember, Hancock took a scholarship this year.

I just cant see Siva leaving for the NBA just yet

He still doesnt have a consistent jump shot and just doesnt have the length. I would bet CRP will advise Siva to jump to the NBA if / when he is projected as a lottery pick. That is something I just dont see happening until possibly next year.

I'm not as worried about his (Siva's) overall skill set

but the NBA draft is going to be deep this year, with or without him included.

There seems to be a lot of freshmen ready to make the jump at seasons end, along with sophomores that stayed due to the pending lockout.

I think he stays, I hope he stays. I know I’m greedy.

Siva has been good and all this year, but not NBA good. Just being honest.

Yes, that is Spike Lee.

And I’m not trying to insult our players, but is it really that important to have Swop back? I mean, he has been pretty silent lately.

Yes, that is Spike Lee.
