WVU and UC this weekend

I read a previous post talking about the odds of UCONN beating Cincy this weekly as probably not happening. I couldnt disagree with this more even though Vegas will have Cincy as the favorite for this game. First of all the if WVU wins Thursday night then Cincy will not be getting the automatic bid no matter what they do on Saturday because of the BCS standings. None the less they will still come out fired up because it will be senior day. After watching the Cincy @ Syracuse game this weekend they are basically a one man offense. Their entire offense is now running through pead whether it be running or catching the ball. UCONN is the best rush defense in the Big East which should limit the Cincy run attack. As we saw their pass defense is a little shaky but it will still be up to the freshmen qb to make the throws which he has been unable to do to this point in the season. The determining factor in this game though will be the UCONN wide receivers. In all honesty we should not have won @ UCONN. They dropped at least 6 passes; 2 of which would have been easy touchdowns. When they railroaded Rutgers this weekend they caught the ball. Their defense is plenty solid enough to hold a weakend Cincy offense to 20 points or less. The question is will they be able to make the routine catches on offense to balance with an above average run game.
