As we first told you back in July, Louisville pulled out of the 2012 Maui Invitational in order to make itself available for the third edition of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament in the Bahamas.
If you weren't convinced that the move was a good one then, the announcement of the teams that will be joining the Cards in the Bahamas should be more than enough to win your approval.
The tournament announced on Saturday that U of L will be joined by Duke, Memphis, Missouri, Stanford, Minnesota, Northern Iowa and VCU.

That will be a tremendous three days of basketball.
It's becoming apparent that the folks behind this tournament are making the push for this to become the new Maui, and it's great to see Louisville getting in on the ground floor, so to speak.
