Opinions on the Plastic, Spastic New Card Bird Mascot...
This year during the football games a new version of our Card Bird mascot suddenly appeared.
And it is a stiff, plastic, spastic thing that made me wonder who the hell thought this was a good idea.
Am I the only one that is somewhat appalled at the sight of this new Milk Chug version of the Card Bird at the football and now basketball games?
Am I the only one that wants to take a big pin and pop that monstrosity?
Fellow Chronocloids ....your take on this....
Family friendly new mascot...or mildly disturbing ?

I will like it if....
It does that headstand trick where they basically flip the whole suit over and then it walks through its hands like the baseball mascots i’ve seen.
I doubt it can do that. but if it does. i’m good by it
He doesn't do much of anything.
While we’re on the topic, did anyone see the Pitt mascot’s dance moves? Dude can get down. We need to put one of those male cheerleaders that can do like 30 flips in a row in the original cardinal bird and let him do his thing. Would be entertaining.

Im not a fan of the new bird
Reminds me of a cheap plastic toy you win at the fair.
Any pics?
I’ve yet to see it…
Have they done away with the other Cardinal Mascot that has been around for ever?
If so, I’ll vote to destroy the plastic one from here, right now. Someone submit my proxy vote if this is the case please.

Already read that - but guess I didn't pay much attention to any of the pics
but one… Ladybirds looked pretty good. Will go back.

Correction - Had read the Pitt Re-cap
If that is replacing the REAL Cardinal Bird, it needs to be CANNED. If it’s augmenting the real deal, I have no issue with it.
Ladybirds need to get in better shape now that I can see their midriffs… Just my $.02

Saw that too about the Ladybirds. Need to visit with Coach Moorer a few times.

Well if any of them get kicked off campus
I have enough room for all….
Would that be your version of "taking one for the team?"

I didn't think you were invited.

I said "taking ONE for the team"
If he takes ones, there should be many left over so, I’m there. It’s simple math Rick.

I think it's one of the worst ideas we've ever had.
That thing can hardly move without walking like a zombie and just stands there bouncing up and down. I think the first time I saw it was at one of the Red-White scrimmages and I hated it from the jump. It looks rather cheap. We need to find out who to contact to make our feelings known on that thing.
I just hope
the reason they used this was that the real Cardinal Bird suit was at the cleaners. This thing looks like it should be floating above the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Then it doesn't necessarily need to be popped.
definitely utilized sparingly though.

Maybe if they sent it to the WVU game it would've been popped with one of the myriad of objects thrown at it.

Actually, by all accounts...
the WVU fans were very well behaved this year.
