We had a voting majority (TCU, maybe even Villanova) in our grasp, but now we can't add anybody. And a 15-year commitment?

Anybody know why the CUSA-3 (us, Cincy, USF) are opposing Boise? My only problem with it is that we're pretty inevitably lumped with them in a sprawling CUSA-MWC-looking division (wtih, say, Air Force, SMU, Houston, Cincy). But the alternatives are worse.
