Well the expantion talk as brewed, shook up leagues, left people sitting on the edge of their sits. And after another crazy shuffle of teams that for the second time in less than a decade come from the big east what whould the big east do??? How about they acctually do what it is that they say that they are doing. Aggresively persue other teams, and not just any teams how about they profile and go after some good school. Nothing against the service academies seeing as though i am active duty but adding those school along with schools like villinova ucf and east carolina is nothing short of manufacturing a carbon copy conference usa. In order for the big east to keep its AQ status they need high profile teams. Boise State would be an awesome choice for the big east not so much the landscape but for creditability. Teams that already expressed the desire to leave there conference like baylor and iowa state. Houston would be a good choice and then to add a couple of smaller schools like UCF and East Carolina would be nice. Notre Dame is also a good possibility seeing as though they already have other sports teams in the big east. But there really neeeds to be some kind of aggresive moves made on the part of the big east. adding a bunch of poor quality teams isnt going to help in anyway.
