Cards fly into top 15 in both polls

Get it? Because a Cardinal is a bird and birds can fly. It works on like seven levels.

A pair of one-point victories did a lot for Louisville in the eyes of the nation's college hoops voters. U of L leaped seven spots from No. 23 to No. 15 in the AP poll, and six spots from No. 19 to No. 13 in the coaches' poll.

Georgetown, the Cardinals' Monday night opponent, is ranked 13th and 14th, respectively.
