Which conference would you rather Louisville be a part of?

Forgive me for going off topic here, I’m trying to focus on basketball.  However, I was reading about how the MWC is treating TCU now and it got me thinking about conference expansion.  Again.

Obviously we have no idea what is going to happen down the road with regard to Big 10/Big East/Other expansion.  I just wanted to try to gauge what our thoughts are on the future of our conference.

It seems to me like 10 years from now we will be in a conference based loosely on one of three scenarios.

1.  Big East/CUSA

The Big East adds some number of teams from CUSA.  This seems like the most likely scenario to me.

2.  Big East/Big 12

Everyone thought when Texas got the deal they did, it was not a long term solution for the Big 12.  We have heard the crazy idea of Kansas/K-State/Missouri coming to the Big East for a few months now.  With TCU already in, it doesn’t seem so far fetched anymore.

3.  ACC/ Big East

This would really be a doomsday scenario for both conferences.  The only way this happens if we all went to 16 team conferences.  However, this might be the best thing for both conferences. 

The question is not what is going to happen.  The question is what scenario would you be happiest with.
