Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

Terrence Jennings asked Gorgui Dieng in the locker room why he let St. John's 6'3" Guard Paris Horne dunk on him and Dieng replied, "I didn’t know he could jump like that."

I love all things Gorgui

His offcourt anecdotes (this, thinking offensive fouls dont count, his entire player bio in the media guide) might be the best part of this season.

Love the story about Pitino trying to yell at him and then laughing

because Gorgui was like “I’m so sorry coach, I’m very sorry coach, I’m so sorry.”

Pitino said he was so genuine that he couldn’t do anything but laugh.

Gorgui is the man.

I am with you

I think his sincerity for the game just puts me over the top for Gorgui. I knew he was going to be awesome when I saw one of his first interviews with the media. They kept asking him repetitive questions (like always) and he kept saying ‘I just want to dunk on people and get rebounds’……..haha!

Agreed, he is just so damn earnest and un-ironic you can't help but like him

He is also really good at blocking shots, so that’s an added bonus.

Gorgui is awesome.

I only hope we get to have him for four years.

Gorgui brings poise and maturity to the #10.

Something we haven’t been used to in recent years.
