Bullet Points
A breakdown of the game as I saw it from behind the UK bench, divided into good, bad, ugly, and mystifying.
The Good:
Bilal Powell: Watch the 80-yard TD run again. And again. Just loop it. That was the highlight of the game.
Cameron Graham: Showed solid hands and the ability to make the catch in tight spaces. Good.
Doug Beaumont: Clutch as usual, except for the fair catch at the 6. I'll forgive him.
More after the jump!
The Bad:
Adam Froman: He was streaky, to say the least. He either stared down his receiver or misfired. He did complete passes, though.
Defensive instincts: By the time the D reacted, UK had either completed a pass or gained 5+ yards on a rush.
Offensive play-calling: Memo to Mike Sanford: You CAN let your QB run the ball. This is college. To me, at least, his play-calling seemed predictable.
The Ugly:
Troy Pascley: Stone hands. STONE HANDS. Does he know that he's supposed to hold onto the ball when it hits his hands? (I'm debating whether to ignore the botched screen play [at least, that's what I think it was]).
The Mystifying:
Johnny Patrick: Where was he? He seemed late to the ball whenever I saw him.
Darius Ashley: Was he even in the stadium? The only time I saw him was on the JumboTron.
Josh Chichester: Do I have to say anything?
DISCLAIMER: This is a venting session/observation of the Louisville-Kentucky game. Feel free to agree or disagree (in most cases, I predict disagreement).

I agree 100% with what you said.
Besides Pascley’s AWFUL hands, the main thing (besides D in the first quarter) that killed us is Froman’s tunnel vision. He drove me crazy with it. The play would start, Froman would stare at one receiver on his right. If the receiver wasn’t open, he’d scramble right until A) The receiver barely gets open, or B) He gets sacked or throws it away. It wasn’t til late in the 3rd quarter where he actually started looking at the whole field. And I’m sure he had tunnel vision because Pascley can’t catch nothing! AHHH!
