Around SBN: Yankees Deny Rumors That Team Is For Sale

Trent Guy turning heads in Carolina

Such a freaking stud.

Speaking of wide receivers, the one guy that really has stood out so far is Trent Guy. He's an undrafted free agent and is working as a backup. But he keeps making plays and is very fast. He's got a shot at a roster spot. At worst, I think he could end up on a practice squad somewhere. Speed like that doesn't come along often.

The bad news is Guy is now sidelined due to a mild left hamstring strain.

Despite the fact that not all of the Panthers coaches know his name, Guy appears poised to make a run at making the 53-man roster.

The more you hear about lightly-regarded Louisville players making noise at the next level (Woodny Turenne, Hunter Cantwell, Trent Guy) the harder it is to believe that we haven't been to a bowl game in four years.

The real bad news

was the fucking waste of oxygen in the head coaches office at PPCS the last 3 years.

Steve Kragthorpe, you suck.

And yes, I feel better now.

Our recruiting classes weren't actually that bad until last year (before CCS).

If you look back at SK’s first two classes, they were full of mostly 3 and 4 star guys, including Turrene and Guy, both of whom were 4 stars in SKs first year (though they were originally recruited by Petrino). Even after his first year he was getting four stars like Vic, though granted a lot of them were actually JUCOs. It was after his second year when everything started falling apart.

recruitingly speaking

progmatically speaking, we fell apart with about 10 seconds left in his third game.
