Charlie Strong's noon press conference

I watched the noon Charlie Strong press conference today on the CJ’s website and thought I would pass on some notes from it.
-It was about 30 mins long with 200 people watching online at the start and 290 by the end of it.
-Vic is 100% healthy. Looks like Powell beat him fair and square
-Jordon Campbell is still dealing with USC and U of L is proceeding without him.
-Coach talked at length about stopping UK’s Cobb while he is in the Wildcat formation. He emphasized hitting gaps and staying square to him due to his speed.
-He mentioned Brandon Heath specifically as someone that has played well and built confidence.

Good stuff, save for Campbell
Either way, none of us expect magic this year. If UK gets us one more time while we’re weak, I’ll go ahead and say it’ll be the last time we lose to them for a while.
Next year’s team is lookin’ pretty good and it’s still waaaaaaaaay off. Lots of time to get even better.

I'd rather see the NCAA sanction them for this BS
The NCAA has ruled that Campbell can transfer out with no penalty. USC is trying to subvert that ruling and ought to be sapped down hard.
Lane Kiffin is a douche.
He’s proven nothing other than that while being a head coach. Hopefully USC sucks with him as their coach.

I’ve never understood exactly how it is that USC can impede his transferring, since the NCAA has said he can do it.
You’re probably right, but we won’t need him tomorrow to whoop Wildcat ass.

He also compared us to the '99 South Carolina Gamecocks

but shows he’s optimistic about the future.
Powell over Vic? Really?
I trust what CCS is saying is 100% true, which means that Powell must have made some major progress. MAJOR progress. In previous years, he wasn’t near as good as Vic was at making people miss, and his speed was average. If Coach now believes the Powell is number one, then I can’t wait to see Powell in action.. Still though, after coming off a season of injuries, I think Vic is seriously due.
He made a point to mention how amazing Powell was in High School
Which makes me worried there’s a little Florida bias.
I was a little annoyed that the reporters were calling him Charlie
instead of “Coach Strong” or “Sir” or “Your worship.”
