Today is Kyle Kuric's 21st birthday

Which is all the justification I need to post this.

That game

gives me hope for this year. TJ outplayed Samardo (IMO), Siva was running the point when we started our run that secured the game for us in the 2nd half, and as I recall Kyle had a decent game too.

Nope, but I'm headed to the Granville for dinner

Mike, if you’re around for your law studies, you should come claim a free early-birthday beer from me.

I think this is an amazing idea

But that may be because I’m already there 3-4 days a week after work and am great friends with all the bartenders/ the owner. Anyone else down for a CC party at the Gville sometime pre-UK game?

Everyone is "friends" with Chip. :)

I helped him put the first big screen TV up in the wall.

I was a regular and “friend” when Eric was bar-tending.

I felt

like we were up by 20 the last 10 minutes of that game. I don’t ever remember looking at the score, just screaming my head off. What a way to go out of that place

weird timing

Perhaps I have not only ESPN but also ESP. My wife and I watched the game again just last night.

Mike

You could post that once a week until b-ball season starts and I’d be cool with that.

Thank You AnVillen!

Does AnVillen do football games???

Kuric was unbelieveable that night. Most excited I’ve been since the WVU Elite 8 game.

I love Sosa. I dont care what the Sosa haters say. I always thought he was great. he was such an exciting player to watch and took the shot when no one else would…and he even hit it sometimes.

If we beat UK

I’m gonna say it takes 9 minutes before I first start wondering if AnVillen is going to make a video.

I don't know which made losing sting more last season

Knowing our tourny chances suffered, or knowing there wouldn’t be an AnVillen video

Player runs

Has anyone noticed how different players seem to go on their own exclusive runs throughout this game? First it’s Smith making all the plays. Then Jennings and Delk tag team for a while. Sosa gets hot for a while, Samardo shows up for a minute and it finishes with the Kuric onslaught. Swopshire is the only scoring sporadically throughout. I guess these are the things you notice when you watch a highlight video as many times as I’ve watched this one. :)

I can't watch that without crying

So, so, so awesome. One of the single greatest, come-from-nowhere individual performances that I’ve ever seen. On top of that from a player I was already a huge fan of and closing down one of the most storied Basketball Venues of all time with a walloping of the #1 team in the country.

Absolutely Freaking priceless.

I haven't even clicked play on the video yet

and I’m already grinning. What an awesome game. That is the highlight of the past several years.

I so hope AnVillen is a football fan…
