Adam Froman named Louisville's starting quarterback
Charlie Strong has named senior Adam Froman as the starting quarterback for Louisville's Sept. 4th opener against arch-rival Kentucky.
Though it was billed throughout the offseason as a three-horse race, Froman - pictured on the cover of the 2010 media guide and front and center on the official team poster - was the guy most people thought was the clear favorite to win the job heading into fall camp.
Often praised for his leadership abilities, Froman started seven games in his first year as Cardinal and went 2-5. He threw for 1,354 yards and six touchdowns while completing 60% of this passes.
This was the logical choice, although it does worry me a bit that it wasn't made sooner.
Although Froman will start and undoubtedly take the vast majority of snaps, I've heard for the past week or so that it has become very likely that freshman Dominique Brown will see the field at least once or twice against Kentucky. Not sure what his role would/will entail, but apparently the staff thinks he's too much of a weapon not to utilize.
Get it done, Adam.

Intriguing
could Brown end up being our version of Cobb or, better yet, Percy harvin? Hmmm…
Good to know
At least there is one question answered while there are still loads of them left.

In other news: Rick Pitino has had a interesting summer, someone spilled Texas Tea in the gulf of Mexico, and it’s hot outside

Is that what the Tea Party is campaigning for?
If so, I’ll vote for Rand Paul. Clean up all the tea in the gulf!

If Dominique Brown turns out to be anywhere close to as fast as Percy Harvin, and he has a semi-accurate arm, he’ll challenge for a Heisman before his career is over. I just wouldn’t bet on it.
I'd say he's more of a Bolt/Manning hybrid

I just hope he's
a Randall-Cunningham-in-his-prime type player. Anything less will be a complete let down.
